BV Joins Hand with China National Chemical Engineering Group, Mutually Promoting Development and Upgrading of Industrial Equipment

Summary

On November 7, 2018, the service trade exhibition area of the first China International Import Expo signed a heavyweight cooperation agreement. Bureau Veritas (hereinafter referred to as “BV”), a world-renowned third-party testing, inspection, certification and advisory service organization, signed a strategic cooperation frame agreement with China National Chemical Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China National Chemical Engineering Group"), a large-scale engineering construction enterprise directly supervised by the State Asset Management Commission of the State Council. The cooperation frame agreement will further deepen cooperation, including consultancy, inspection, testing, certification, project management and supervision in the fields of energy equipment, petroleum and chemical equipment, and respond to the Belt and Road Initiative to jointly promote the international development of related industries.

According to the agreement, BV will provide all-round services including training consultation, safety risk assessment, testing, quality control, equipment inspection, product and system certification to China National Chemical Engineering Group, and further comprehensive and in-depth cooperation in construction and real estate, energy, petrochemical and chemical equipment, marine engineering equipment and power and energy installations.
