Bureau Veritas Witnesses the Birth of China's First "Zero Carbon Factory" in the Cold Drink Industry at Yili

On April 13, Yili was awarded the Carbon Neutral Verification Statement (PAS 2060) by Bureau Veritas, a global international inspection and certification body, becoming the first "zero carbon factory" in China's cold beverage industry and Yili's fourth "zero carbon factory". It means Yili starts a new journey towards a zero carbon future for the entire cold beverage industry chain and the entire range of products.

As a long-term partner, Bureau Veritas witnessed the birth of the first "zero carbon factory" in the Chinese cold beverage industry at Yili. Over the years, Yili has always placed great importance on achieving peak carbon and carbon neutrality, and has led the way in carbon reduction across the industry chain with practical actions. In 2007, Pan Gang, Chairman of Yili Group, pioneered "Green Leadership", which was further upgraded to Yili's "Green Industry Chain Strategy" in 2009; since 2010, Yili has conducted a comprehensive carbon inventory for 12 consecutive years, becoming the first company in the industry to do so.
