Bureau Veritas issued a carbon neutral declaration certificate to CRRC Sichuan Railway Investment Co., Ltd. to witness the birth of the world's first smart rail "zero carbon factory"

Recently, CRRC Sichuan Railway Investment Co., Ltd. was successfully assisted by the carbon resources research team of CRRC Zhuzhou Research Institute to obtain the PAS 2060 carbon neutrality verification statement certificate issued by Bureau Veritas, which witnessed that it became the world's first smart rail "zero carbon plant".

Sichuan CRRC Railway Investment Co., Ltd. is located in Yibin City, Sichuan Province, at the junction of Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan provinces. The Jinsha River, Minjiang River and Yangtze River cross the northern part of the city. The natural environment is superior, water resources are rich, and the unique geographical location makes the plant's energy come from renewable energy hydropower, allowing the water from Sichuan to "wash away" carbon emissions.

CRRC Sichuan Railway Investment Co., Ltd. has taken various measures to reduce carbon emissions from the perspective of the whole life cycle. The "zero carbon factory" of smart rail has successfully explored the "double carbon" consulting mode, provided a reference sample for carbon neutralization in the production and manufacturing of smart rail, and brought a new solution of "complete vehicle+zero carbon" to the market.
