新西兰标准局于 1944年推出了新西兰认证标志（"S "标志）计划，根据相关标准对本地制造的产品进行认证。1997年，必维国际检验集团收购了该计划，并保留了使用 "S "标志进行产品认证的权利。 该计划现称为 "必维国际检验集团产品认证计划"。必维国际检验集团继续在澳大利亚、新西兰和太平洋地区使用"S "标志作为该计划的标识。S-Mark标志作为建筑产品（包括安全玻璃）、管道和配件、木材产品、个人防护设备、浮力辅助工具和儿童汽车座椅等产品的认证标志，一直保持着很高的品牌知名度。
