On October 22nd, Mr.Xie Huihui, Deputy Director of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone Administration (hereinafter referred to as Qianhai Bureau), invited the leaders of Housing Construction Department, Qianhai Construction and Investment Group and other related departments to meet with 8 leaders, namely, Ms.Han Jing, Senior Vice President of Bureau Veritas and President of China and Northeast Asia, and Mr.Dai Wenkai, Senior Vice President of Bureau Veritas, General Manager of Greater China Buildings and Infrastructure Business Group, etc. in the conference room of Qianhai Bureau.

Deputy Director Mr.Xie introduced the Qianhai Shenzhen-Shekou Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone, with the core of 'Further Overall Reform and Opening-up Programme of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone' released in September this year. The total area of the Qianhai Cooperation Zone has expanded eight times from 14.92 square kilometres to 120.56 square kilometres. To leverage Shenzhen's market, law and international advantages and experience, Qianhai serves as strategic foundation of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. Qianhai will integrate the resources of Shenzhen and Hong Kong, as well as globle high-end elements. What's more, with its emphasis on finance, modern logistics, information services, technology services, professional services, port services, shipping services and other strategic emerging services, Qianhai promotes the integrated economic development of Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Therefore, Qianhai will serve as a key productive service centre in Asia-Pacific region, the global trade services base as well as the hub port.
