As an advocate of the green and low-carbon industry, Bureau Veritas was invited to participate in the conference. Ms. Huang Min, the product manager of sustainable development in China, shared a speech entitled "The relationship between ESG and carbon disclosure" for the guests online.

China's "Fourteenth Five Year Plan" proposed that the economic and social development should implement the new development concept, promote the overall green and low-carbon transformation of the economy and society with the theme of promoting high-quality development, which provides a valuable historical opportunity for the implementation of the ESG concept in China. At the same time, China recently released the first ESG group standard, Enterprise ESG Disclosure Guide, which not only fills the gap in the field of enterprise ESG disclosure standards in China, but also lays a foundation for the development of China's ESG. However, ESG is still in its early stage of development in China, and both standard formulation and rating system are mainly based on international standards. The development of ESG in China should not only consider the reference, guidance and connection of international practice, but also conform to China's culture, development stage, development characteristics and the dynamic situation at home and abroad. Combining the current domestic development situation and the "3060 double carbon target", the development of E (environment) in ESG, especially in the industrial field, needs more attention and attention.
