Bruno FERREYRA, Oil & Gas Global Service Line Leader at Bureau Veritas, delivered a video speech for this event. He said that in the past two decades, the supply chain industry has grown rapidly and has gained more opportunities under many uncertain factors. This has brought challenges to customers on how to monitor, respond to and mitigate the impact on operations. As a trustworthy partner, Bureau Veritas has launched a new customized digital solution Supply-R, which expands the scope of existing supply chain services. Sinopec and Bureau Veritas launched a supplier pilot among Tier 1 suppliers in early 2021. We look forward to continuing to help Sinopec improve its performance, and are very pleased to extend our cooperation to Sinopec's supply chain management improvement plan for the EPEC platform.

Wei Yungang, Vice President of Bureau Veritas and General Manager of Oil, Gas and Chemical Business Group in Greater China, said that it is a great honor to meet with the leaders of Sinopec Materials & Equipment Department and EPEC and representatives of various enterprises in Suzhou EPEC Industrial Products Exhibition. Bureau Veritas and Sinopec Group have gone through 20 years of history, which stems from the mutual trust and support of both parties. Bureau Veritas has always used advanced technology and management capabilities to help Sinopec achieve its strategic goals of high-quality development and stable, long-term and optimal operations. Since the beginning of this year, Sinopec and Bureau Veritas have launched a pilot project on the resilience supply chain reshaping cooperation, which has achieved very good results. The two parties are earnestly studying and reaching strategic cooperation and promotion at the group level. Bureau Veritas promises that, whether at the moment or in the future, we will continue to serve all partners with our knowledge, technology and experience, and will always be with you on the road of high-quality development.

Xiong Jianxin, a senior expert from the Materials & Equipment Department of China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec Group) Ltd., expressed his gratitude to the Bureau Veritas team for coming to the first EPEC Industrial Products Exhibition, and taking the opportunity of the exhibition to introduce the reshaping of supply chain resilience to everyone. Bureau Veritas and Sinopec have a long history of cooperation, and the two parties have a very good foundation for cooperation. Although Bureau Veritas has a history of 193 years, it is still constantly innovating, adapting to the development of the times, constantly tapping the needs of users, and constantly expanding the industrial chain and business. The Supply-R project launched by Bureau Veritas last year was very good. The two parties completed the pilot project together, and the results of the implementation were also very good. I believe that with the reshaping of the supply chain, whether at the national or international level, the supply chain is rebuilt, or the chain is reinforced and supplemented. For the front-end of suppliers, especially inspection and certification body, our future cooperation will be much more extensive and the field of cooperation will become much wider. I hope that we will work together to do a better job of building the chain, strengthening the chain, supplementing the chain and extending the chain.

Che Lei, Operations Director of Bureau Veritas Greater China Oil, Gas and Chemical Business Group, gave a detailed report on Bureau Veritas's resilience supply chain reshaping solution and the results of the pilot project with Sinopec, and jointly signed the Memorandum of Cooperation in Resilience Supply Chain Management with Fan Xiaojun, General Manager of the Materials & Equipment Department and Purchasing Operation Department of China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec Group) Ltd..

Leaders of both parties and guest representatives conducted interactive discussions on the topic of resilient supply chain.
