On July 22, sponsored by the carbon neutralization Professional Committee of China Energy Conservation Association and organized by Ningbo Zhedong environmental energy exchange Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhedong environmental energy exchange"), the "carbon peak carbon neutralization" mobile lecture hall, Ningbo Station of China Travel and double carbon strategic planning seminar was successfully held. Green and low-carbon has become the main concept of national large-scale events. As early as May 2019, the Ministry of ecological environment issued the announcement on the implementation guide for carbon neutrality in large-scale events (Trial), It has been clearly defined: "the organizers of large-scale events need to formulate carbon neutralization implementation plans in the preparatory stage of large-scale events, carry out emission reduction actions in the holding stage, calculate greenhouse gas emissions in the closing stage and take offset measures to complete carbon neutralization".

In order to actively respond to the call of the corresponding countries for "3060 double carbon" and advocate a green and low-carbon lifestyle, on the eve of the event, Bureau Veritas verified that the direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions of this event were 6.324 tons of CO2e according to ISO 14064-1:2018 and the implementation guidelines for carbon neutralization in large-scale events (Trial). At the event site, Ms. Zou Fengxian, general manager of Bureau Veritas certification business group, issued the greenhouse gas emission certification statement certificate for this seminar.

In addition, in order to better serve national carbon neutralization, local carbon neutralization, industry carbon neutralization and enterprise carbon neutralization, enhance the awareness of enterprise carbon neutralization, help enterprises achieve the goal of carbon neutralization, and help enterprises realize the value of carbon neutralization. At the site of the seminar, Bureau Veritas signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Zhedong Environmental Exchange, established multi-dimensional carbon neutrality business and technical cooperation, and reached a carbon neutrality strategic partnership. The cooperation includes: the promotion of zero carbon benchmark demonstration projects; Carbon emission verification of enterprises and their supply chains, carbon emission reduction and carbon neutralization solutions, and carbon footprint certification of products; Development and certification of relevant group standards for product carbon labels and EPD (product environmental declaration); Carbon trading scheme, quota trading scheme, carbon asset management scheme, carbon financial service scheme and services, etc. In the future, the two sides will jointly promote carbon management services based on the full life cycle, enabling all walks of life to achieve the "double carbon" goal as soon as possible.
