Bureau Veritas witnessed the birth of the first "zero carbon booth" in the dairy industry in Yili

On October 26, 2022, Yili appeared at the 13th China Packaging Innovation and Sustainable Development Forum. The booth was issued a verification statement by Bureau Veritas and became the first "zero carbon booth" in the dairy industry. Its carbon reduction is equivalent to the continuous operation of Oriental Pearl TV Tower landscape lights in Shanghai for 17 hours.

The booth uses green and environment-friendly building materials, calculates the carbon footprint of raw materials, construction energy consumption and use energy consumption, and studies the carbon emissions in the life cycle of the booth. In addition, the booth also shows that Jindian Organic A2 β- Five "zero carbon products", including pure casein milk, Changqing Protein Time Yoghurt, etc.

Previously, Bureau Veritas witnessed Yili's determination to implement the "dual carbon" goal with practical actions, provided it with professional carbon neutral service solutions, and issued several industry first carbon neutral verification statements.

In 2021, Iran's interest rate industry first promised to achieve carbon neutrality, and obtained the first carbon neutralization verification statement issued by Bureau Veritas in China's dairy industry. In addition, Yili's carbon reduction action has also been selected into the first Corporate Carbon Neutralization Roadmap of the United Nations, so far Yili's carbon reduction strategy, management and practice have been comprehensively and systematically launched. On April 8, 2022, Yili officially released the Yili Group's Zero Carbon Future Plan, which announced to the world that "the carbon peak has been achieved in 2012, and the whole industrial chain will be carbon neutral by 2050".

Carbon neutralization is not only a constraint indicator, but also a dynamic mechanism.
